Energetic, flexible, patient, creative enthusiasts who truly enjoy teaching science to teens. Ideally, you have experience working with teens and have some teaching experience. Science knowledge is desirable. You must enjoy working in a team focused environment.
The Counselors/Program Specialists are responsible for assisting in the direction, supervision, and organization of campers in their living unit, within activities, on field trips and throughout the camp. Specialties sought include lifesaving and first-aid, art and music, photography and videography, Hawaiiana, and outdoor skills. Must be at least 19 years old.
Location: Windward O'ahu (Kailua/Kāneʻohe). Camp dates: June 6-17 (Mon-Fri, 8-4).
Counselors are the primary caregivers for each camper. The Counselor is responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating, and carrying out activities and guiding campers in their personal growth and daily living skills. Assist in the direction, supervision, and organization of campers in their camper group within activities and throughout the camp in order to meet the intended camper outcomes. Participate in the development and implementation of program activities for campers within the mission and outcomes. Counselors must be at least 16 years old. Apply below.
